I live in Pensacola, Florida with my husband, Steve, and daughter, Erica. We share our lives with Bongo, Zooey, Lelu, Ruby, Tabitha and Bella. Bella the bunny rules.
I write science fiction and fantasy short stories. I'm working up to a novel, but I'm still making a name for myself in the genre. Please check out Something Magic This Way Comes as edited by Martin H. Greenberg and Sarah A. Hoyt as published in March 2008. My first pro rate sale is included in there under the title of "Winds of Change." In March 2009, please look for Ages of Wonder as edited by Rob St. Martin and Julie E. Czerneda. It will contain my second pro rate published story, "Pony Up." I'm extremely proud of both of them, and I hope you will enjoy reading them. There are various semi-pro publications out there with my work in them, so keep an eye out.
I also stay very busy with Erica's competitive baton twirling. Getting her here and there isn't an easy task since she doesn't drive yet. She is the current NBTA Florida One Baton Champion for her division and is getting ready for regionals and nationals. She also coaches the fire baton team for the Santa Rosa and Escambia Twirlers.
I work in the marketing department of TA Instruments out of New Castle, DE as a business-to-business telemarketer. It's really not as loathesome a job as it sounds since I don't do what people think of when they hear the word "telemarketer." TAI is very good to me, and I appreciate having a job that I can work from home while Erica is still in school.
